For individuals wishing full initiation into the Catholic Church, the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) and Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) walk people through a process of inquiry, discernment, education, reflection, and prayer.
This process is open to children who are 7 years and older and are unbaptized. Classes are held Sunday mornings. Adults wishing full initiation in the Church (e.g., baptized but not yet having received First Communion and/or Confirmation) participate in one of two 6-week sessions offered each year.
